Junior Programmer - NK/FRST

Randstad Hellas, is seeking to employ a Programmer on behalf of its client, a leading financial institution.
Responsibilities:
• Development of new and maintenance of existing inhouse software in line with user requirements.
• Tests and certification of source code throughout the development lifecycle (Unit testing, integration testing, system testing.
• Creation of technical documentation for new developed software and maintenance of existing.
• Application deployment and creation of user manual
• End user support (including training).
• Support and troubleshoot application (coding support & quick fixes) for in scope European applications.
• Limited overnight support coverage as and when required.
Απαιτούμενα προσόντα:
Skills/Experience required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• 1 to 2 years of working experience at a minimum.
• Solid foundation in OO programming and design as well as relational databases.
• Experience in VB6 and VBA.
• Very good knowledge in MS .net 3.0 and above (VB or C#).
• Experience in programming MS SQL 2005, 2008.
• Experience with nUnit for Unit testing.
• Experience in using source code versioning tools (perforce, CVS, SourceSafe).
• Experience in working in a team environment.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Desire and ability to learn new technologies as and when required e.g. Java.
