Our rapid growth and success has opened up an opportunity for a Greek speaking IT application support Team Leader (40 FTE) in Brno (Czech Republic).

Your responsibilities
• Managing the performance of the team, ensuring that all service levels are met
• Accountable for the SLAs and KPIs for the support service and ensure accurate reporting
• Setting, managing and achieving strategic goals for the team
• Monitoring risk of service provided and ensuring implementation of mitigation measures
• Coaching, mentoring and developing team members
• Providing operational support to team members
• Handling client communication and escalations
• Coordinate with Infosys domain, technical and process competencies to bring in added value to delivery

The team you will work with provide application support to our client with on non-standard software applications, they communicate with end users in the respective country to clarify problems with applications and resolve, diagnose the issues and escalate to programmers in cases of complex application problems, they facilitate communication between programmers and end users, translate customer information into English to communicate with internal colleagues, maintain technical knowledge databases and “how to” queries and report on local country data on incidents, problems, service requests etc.

Our requirements
• Strong leadership/people management background
• Organisational/Analytical skills
• Understanding of Information Technologies Infrastructure Library framework
• Greek language fluency (Spoken & Written)
• English language fluency (Spoken & Written)
• Technical education (IT related qualifications) and/or experience in the relevant field
• Experience/knowledge of JAVA or .NET technologies (main technologies for all applications)
• Basic knowledge of databases (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL)
• Understanding of basic Object Oriented Principals (OOP)

Brno is a truly international city with inhabitants and visitors from all over the world and there is no requirement to speak Czech.
